About Us

Neris Holding grew out of a small automotive spare-parts workshop that two partners opened in Kocaeli in 1962. Over more than six decades the group has become a business active in five sectors – automotive, energy, finance, retail and defense – employing more than 14,000 people.

Milestones

• 1962: First workshop opens in Kocaeli
• 1974: Authorized automotive dealership and service network begins
• 1991: First energy investment: a small-scale hydropower plant
• 2004: Financial services companies founded and first public offering on Borsa Istanbul
• 2009: Entry into defense and aerospace
• 2018: Group-wide renewable energy and electric mobility strategy announced
• 2024: First integrated annual and sustainability report published

Our values

Integrity, long-term thinking, commitment to production and investment in our people are the four values shared by every company in the group. Each company runs with an independent management team in its own sector, while the holding acts as an umbrella for capital allocation, risk management, corporate governance and strategic planning.

Governance approach

One third of our board consists of independent members. Audit, early risk detection and corporate governance committees meet regularly, and decisions and results are shared transparently with investors.

Our people and contribution to society

Forty-two percent of Neris Holding employees are women, and the share in management is 31 percent. Through the Neris Education Foundation, 1,400 students have received vocational scholarships and workshops have been renovated at two vocational high schools in Kocaeli and Eskişehir. 2,600 employees take part in the volunteering program every year.
